Loci was born out of frustration — and necessity.

After being laid off, losing his vision insurance, and eventually his supply of contacts, Lawrence found himself relying on his glasses again — glasses he often misplaced or lost entirely. It wasn’t just inconvenient — it was unsustainable.

Lawrence knew this struggle all too well. Growing up in government housing and relying on Medicaid, he remembered the stress of losing a single pair of glasses as a kid. They were never stylish, always the bare minimum, and were only covered once a year. If you lost them, that was it — you just had to manage. That or your family had to struggle to afford a new pair; that experience never left him.

In 2024, Loci was founded with a simple mission: to make lost and misplaced glasses a thing of the past — without compromising on style, quality, or accessibility. We believe you should never have to choose between the look you love, quality and the peace of mind you deserve.
