Every Loci Eyewear frame works with the Apple Find My network and Google's Find Hub. Add your frames to the Apple Find My app on iPhone, or the Find Hub app on Android. See them on a map or play a sound to locate them when they're nearby.
FAQ
Do Loci glasses need an app?
No. If you own an iPhone, simply add the tracker to the native Apple Find My app. If you own an Android phone, add it to the Find Hub app. This app is not pre-installed on all Android phones, so you might need to download it first.
Which devices do Loci glasses work with?
To use your Loci Eyewear on an iPhone, your device must be running iOS 14.5 or later. The latest version of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS is recommended.
The Find Items app on Apple Watch requires the latest version of watchOS.
To use your Loci Eyewear on an Android phone, your device must be running Android 9 or later with Google Play Services installed.
How long does the Loci battery last?
Loci Eyewear works for about a month on a single 6-hour charge. While your glasses will play a sound when your battery gets low and needs to be charged, you can view your battery status at any time with the Apple Find My network or Google's Find Hub. The Apple Find My app also provides a notification on your phone when it's time to charge.
How many pair of Loci Eyewear can I add to the Apple Find My network or Google's Find Hub?
You can add up to 32 items to the Apple Find My app, including shared items and accessories, like Loci Eyewear. Google's Find Hub doesn't have a publicly stated limit for the number of Bluetooth devices you can add, but we have successfully tested it with more than 30 pair of Loci Eyewear added.
Do Loci glasses work on both iPhone and Android?
Yes. Both are fully supported. Choose your network when you set up and choose to re-pair your frames if you ever change ecosystems.
How does Loci protect your location data?
Yes. Location is encrypted by default. FindLoci doesn't see where your frames go. Apple nor Google collect your data or share your data with us. You can choose to share location with a family member if you want to. Otherwise, only you can see them.
Are Loci glasses FSA and HSA eligible?
Yes. All Loci prescription eyewear qualify for HSA and FSA. Simply checkout and keep your receipt for your records. Learn more →
Are Loci glasses covered by my insurance?
Yes. Loci glasses are in-network for most major vision plans. In the rare event that your vision plan is out-of-network or we are not able to locate your policy information, you may submit your receipt for reimbursement directly with your insurance provider. Learn more →
What if I lose my Loci glasses?
In the rare case you completely loose your glasses, you can mark them as lost in the Apple Find My app or Google's Find Hub. Anyone who finds them will see a notification that the frames belong to you and can reach you at the information you have chosen to provide for your eyewear.
