Where do Loci glasses work?

Loci glasses work anywhere in the world where the Apple Find My network and Find Hub network are available. If your glasses are nearby, you can use features like playing a sound and proximity-based finding. If they’re farther away, you can view their last known location and, when available, locate them through participating devices within the network.

Do Loci glasses need a new app?

No. If you own an iPhone, simply add your glasses to the Apple Find My app. If you own an Android phone, add them to the Find Hub app. This app is not pre-installed on all Android phones, so you might need to download it first.

Do Loci glasses work on both iPhone and AndroidTM?

Yes. Both are fully supported. Choose your network when you set up and choose to re-pair your frames if you ever change ecosystems. To use your Loci Eyewear on an iPhone, your device must be running iOS 14.5 or later. The latest version of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS is recommended. The Find Items app on Apple Watch requires the latest version of watchOS.

To use your Loci Eyewear on an Android phone, your device must be running Android 9 or later with Google Play Services installed.

Do Loci glasses require a subscription or additional accessories?

No. Loci glasses do not require a subscription or accessory of any sort. If you own an iPhone, simply add Loci glasses to the native Apple Find My app. If you own an Android phone, add it to the Find Hub app. This app is not pre-installed on all Android phones, so you might need to download it first.

Are Loci glasses HSA and FSA eligible?

Yes. All Loci prescription and reader eyewear qualify for HSA and FSA. Simply checkout and keep your receipt for your records.

Are Loci glasses covered by my Insurance?

Yes. You can use vision insurance benefits toward eligible prescription eyewear, including prescription readers. Coverage and reimbursement amounts vary by provider and plan. Loci will provide an itemized receipt with the information needed to submit your claim for reimbursement. HSA and FSA funds can be used directly at checkout for eligible purchases.

How long does the battery last?

Loci glasses last approximately one month on a single charge with typical use. Battery life may vary based on usage and environmental conditions.
