Do Loci glasses work on both iPhone and Android?

Yes. Loci Eyewear work with both iPhone and Android devices. Simply add your glasses to the Apple Find My app on iPhone or the Find Hub app on Android. No additional Loci app is required.

Loci Eyewear works with iPhone, iPad, and Mac on the Apple Find My network running iOS 14.5 or later. To use your Loci Eyewear on an Android phone, your device must be running Android 9 or later with Google Play Services installed.

Do Loci glasses need an additional app?

No. If you own an iPhone, simply add your glasses to the native Apple Find My app. If you own an Android phone, add it to the native Find Hub app. This app is not pre-installed on all Android phones, so you might need to download it first.

Which devices do Loci glasses work with?

Loci Eyewear work with iPhone, iPad, and Mac on the Apple Find My network and works on Android 9+ and in certain countries for age-eligible users.

To use your Loci Eyewear on an iPhone, your device must be running iOS 14.5 or later. The latest version of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS is recommended. The Find Items app on Apple Watch requires the latest version of watchOS.

To use your Loci Eyewear on an Android phone, your device must be running Android 9 or later with Google Play Services installed.

Can I make my glasses play a sound?

Yes. If your glasses are nearby, you can use the Apple Find My app or Google's Find Hub to make them play a sound so you can quickly track them down and get back to your day.

What happens if I switch from iPhone to Android?

No problem. Simply remove your Loci glasses from your current device and pair them with your new device. Loci works with both iPhone and Android, so you can switch ecosystems at any time.

Are the frames waterproof?

Loci glasses are rated IP66 and built for everyday life. They can handle rain, sweat, splashes, and even unexpected downpours, but they should not be submerged in water.

How do I charge the frames?

Loci glasses charge using the included magnetic charging cable. Simply attach the charger to the frame and allow approximately 6 hours for a full charge. A full charge provides about one month of typical use.

How long does the Loci battery last?

Loci glasses last approximately one month on a single charge with typical use. Battery life may vary based on usage and environmental conditions.

Do they look or feel heavier than regular glasses?

No. Loci glasses are designed to maintain the look, feel, and comfort of traditional eyewear without compromising style.

Can I turn the sensor off?

Yes. You remain in control of your device. You can unpair your glasses from your device or disable your glasses at any time by following the instructions in your user manual.

Do Loci glasses have cameras, microphones, speakers, or AI?

No. Loci glasses do not include cameras, microphones, speakers, or AI assistants. Loci is designed to help you find your glasses when they're misplaced, not record your surroundings, listen to your conversations, or collect your personal information. The location of your glasses remains encrypted and private, and only you (or people you choose to share with) can view their location.

How many pairs of Loci Eyewear can I add to Apple Find My or Google's Find Hub?

You can add up to 32 items to the Apple Find My app, including shared items and accessories, like Loci Eyewear. Google's Find Hub doesn't have a publicly stated limit for the number of devices you can add, but we have successfully tested it with more than 30 pairs of Loci Eyewear added.

Can the sensor be removed and installed in another pair of glasses?

No. Loci's sensor is permanently integrated into the frame during manufacturing and is not intended to be removed or transferred. Attempts to remove it will permanently disable the find feature.

Finding Your Glasses

What if I misplace or lose my Loci glasses?

Loci glasses are designed to help you find them whether they're nearby, left behind, or truly lost. If your glasses are nearby, you can make them play a sound to help locate them. If they're farther away, you can view their location on a map and get directions to their last known location.

If you can't find your glasses, you can place them in Lost Mode through the Apple Find My app or Google's Find Hub. If someone finds your glasses, they can view the contact information you choose to share and reach out to help return them.

What happens if I accidentally leave my glasses with a friend?

Life happens. If your glasses are accidentally left behind with a friend or family, built-in safety features may help make them aware that your glasses are traveling with them. Combined with location sharing, maps, directions, and Lost Mode, Loci provides multiple ways to help reunite you with your eyewear.

How do I locate my glasses if they're nearby?

No problem. If your glasses are nearby, you can use the Apple Find My app or Find Hub to make them play a sound and help guide you to their location. Depending on your device and network, additional finding features may also be available.

How do I locate my glasses if they're far away?

No problem. If your glasses are far away, open the Apple Find My app or Find Hub to view their last known location on a map. You can also get directions to that location directly from your device. As your glasses are detected by the network, their location may be updated automatically to help you find them.

What happens if I leave my glasses behind?

Loci helps you stay connected to your eyewear even when it's not with you. Apple users can receive notifications when their glasses are left behind, while Android users can view their glasses' location in Find Hub and get directions to help recover them.

Can I share my glasses with family and friends?

Yes. You can share your Loci glasses with trusted friends or family members for added peace of mind and an extra set of eyes when your glasses go missing.

What is Lost Mode?

Lost Mode is designed to help reunite you with your glasses. If someone finds your Loci glasses, they can view the contact information you choose to share and contact you directly to help return them. You may also receive updates if your glasses are detected by the network.

What happens if someone finds my glasses?

If someone finds your glasses while they are in Lost Mode, they can use the contact information you choose to share to help return them to you. It's a simple way to increase the chances of being reunited with your eyewear.

Privacy & Security

Can Loci see where my glasses are?

No. Loci cannot see, access, or locate your glasses. The location of your eyewear remains private and encrypted by Apple and Google and is not shared with us. Loci helps you find your glasses. It does not help us find you.

Can someone else locate my glasses?

No. The location of your glasses is private and can only be viewed by you or people you intentionally choose to share access with. No one else can use Loci to find your eyewear.

How do anti-stalking protections work?

Your safety matters. Loci, Apple, and Google include built-in anti-stalking protections designed to alert people if an unknown device appears to be traveling with them. These safeguards help prevent misuse while helping ensure that only authorized users can access location information. If you have questions about managing, unpairing, or disabling your own device, please refer to the product documentation included with your eyewear.

Prescription & Lenses

Can I add prescription lenses?

Yes. Loci glasses are available with prescription lenses, including single vision, progressive, reader, and sunglass options. You can even virtually try on frames before ordering to help find the right look and fit.

Can I use my current prescription?

Yes. Simply provide a valid prescription during checkout and we'll craft your lenses to your specifications.

What if my prescription is expired?

A valid prescription is required for prescription lenses. If your prescription has expired, we recommend scheduling an eye exam to ensure your vision correction is up to date.

Can I replace the lenses later?

Yes. Loci frames are designed to support future lens replacements should your prescription or vision needs change.

Do you offer progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive lenses are available for customers who need vision correction at multiple distances without visible bifocal lines.

Do you offer readers?

Yes. Loci Eyewear is available with reader lenses in a variety of magnifications for customers who need help with close-up vision. Prescription readers are generally eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement. Non-prescription readers may be eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement depending on your plan.

Can I order non-prescription lenses?

Yes. Loci glasses are available with non-prescription clear lenses and non-prescription sunglasses.

How do I find my pupillary distance (PD)?

Your pupillary distance (PD) may be included on your prescription. If it isn't, don't worry. During checkout, we provide tools that can help you measure your PD from home, making it easy to complete your order.

What lens options are available?

We offer single vision, progressive, reader, non-prescription, polarized, Transitions, sunglass, and premium lens upgrade options designed to fit a variety of vision and lifestyle needs.

Can I send my own lenses to be installed by Loci?

No. Loci does not install customer-supplied lenses. All lenses ordered through Loci are custom manufactured and installed to ensure proper fit, performance, and warranty coverage.

Can my eye doctor replace the lenses later?

Yes. Most qualified optical professionals can replace lenses in Loci frames if your prescription changes or your lenses need replacement.

Can I send my own frames to have Loci's sensor installed?

No. Loci does not install our sensor in customer-supplied frames. All frames ordered through Loci are custom manufactured to ensure proper fit, performance, and warranty coverage.

HSA/FSA & Vision Insurance

Are Loci glasses HSA and FSA eligible?

Yes. Loci prescription eyewear, reading glasses, and prescription sunglasses are generally eligible for HSA and FSA spending. Simply check out as normal and keep your receipt for your records. Eligibility for reading glasses may vary based on your individual plan.

Are Loci glasses covered by my insurance?

Yes. Loci is in-network for most major vision insurance plans which provide coverage or reimbursement for prescription eyewear. Coverage amounts vary by provider and plan. In the rare case that your plan is out-of-network, we provide detailed receipts and information to submit your glasses for reimbursement.

How do I use my vision benefits?

Loci will help you check whether or not your plan is in network. If it is, we will link directly to your insurance provider. If direct benefits are unavailable, you may be able to submit your purchase for reimbursement.

Can I submit an out-of-network claim?

Yes. If direct benefits are unavailable, you may be able to submit your purchase for reimbursement.

What documentation will I receive for reimbursement?

We'll provide an itemized receipt containing the information typically required for reimbursement submissions.

Orders & Shipping

How long does it take to receive my glasses?

Most orders are processed and shipped same day. Prescription orders may require additional time for lens customization.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We begin processing orders quickly to ensure fast delivery. If you need to make a change, please contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to assist.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to select countries. Available shipping destinations will be displayed during checkout.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow its journey to your door.

When will my order ship?

Shipping timelines vary depending on the products and lens options selected. You'll receive a confirmation email as soon as your order is on its way.

Why do prescription orders take longer?

Every prescription lens is custom crafted specifically for you. Additional time helps ensure your lenses are manufactured accurately and meet our quality standards.

Can I order multiple pairs?

Yes. You may order as many pairs as you'd like, whether for yourself, family members, or as gifts.

Returns, Exchanges & Warranty

What is your return and refund policy?

Love your glasses or we'll make it right with our 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Non-prescription eyewear may be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange. Prescription eyewear may be eligible for adjustments, remakes, or exchanges where appropriate. Please see our full Return Policy for details.

What is your warranty?

Loci eyewear is covered by a one-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials, workmanship, and electronics.

What if my prescription lenses were manufactured incorrectly?

If your lenses do not match the prescription information provided at the time of purchase, we'll remake them at no charge within 30 days of delivery.

What if my glasses do not fit properly?

We want your glasses to feel as good as they look. If your eyewear requires adjustment, our team will work with you to find an appropriate solution.

What if I entered the wrong prescription?

Please review your prescription carefully before placing your order. Orders submitted with incorrect customer-provided prescription information may not be eligible for free remakes or refunds.

What is not covered under warranty?

The warranty does not cover loss, theft, accidental damage, misuse, abuse, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear, scratched lenses, or damage resulting from improper handling.

Can I exchange my glasses?

Eligible products may be exchanged in accordance with our Return Policy. Some exclusions apply to custom prescription products.

Can I return prescription eyewear?

If your prescription eyewear is not the right fit or requires adjustment, our team will work with you to find a solution, which may include adjustments, lens remakes, or exchanges where appropriate.

What happens if my sensor stops working?

Service Plans

What service plans are available?

Loci offers an optional service plan designed to provide additional protection, support, and benefits for your eyewear.

Can I add a service plan after purchase?

Yes. Service plans may be added within the enrollment period but before your glasses arrive following your eyewear purchase.

How long do I have to enroll?

Service plans must be added within the enrollment window specified at the time of purchase.

Are service plans refundable?

Service plan fees are not refundable, except where required by law.

Are service plans transferable?

No. Service plans are tied to the original purchaser and covered eyewear and cannot be transferred.

What is not covered by a service plan?
